Fireplace- manfacturors

any suggestions for where i might find a manufacturor that does a 14' firebox? (woodburning)

14' wide? pretty massive...try Moberg Fireplaces in Portland...http://www.mobergfireplaces.com/

you should be able to heat a small village.

Similar to ecosmart fire is www.sparkfires.com fire ribbon.
Both are shallow and ventless... ecosmart burns denatured alcohol and sparks uses standard gas.

it doesn't sound like this is what you're looking for, but the fire orb is pretty cool... i had one spec'd for a house that i designed, but unfortunately it was never built...
