3d printing? outsourcing for students

nscheiter

Just wondering for those students who dont have a 3d printer or lithography machine at their school, where do you guys have it done? I have used Z-corp a few times on short term projects, but was wanting to here what other students are doing.

Besides making the model youself.

Thanks

43N88W, I've had really good results using clear acrylic spray sealant that can be found at any hardware store for about $4. the results are not nearly as strong as the pink-zap style, but the finish is not effected, and at least it no longer 'dusts' when you pick it up.

if you're gonna be careful with the piece anyway, I recommend this!
