i get all inspired by stuff like that - the follow through is another matter- trying to explain to my housemate that the plate glass, and legs, and plywood i have accumulated are actually going to be furniture - just give them another year....

dexion-and-plywood shelving is brilliant, but not quite as makeshift as bricks-and-planks.

my garage-turned-studio has some shelving....
no pixs but the gist of it is a collection of never-unpacked boxes of books and some never-installed IKEA shelving laid acorss them.
doesn't look too nice, but it works as a nice sideboard for chips and stuff for the 'ol monthly poker game.
