portfolio-draft 2 (hopefully final)

ClemsonDnB

Hi guys. I wanted to post my new portfolio. Its too late to make changes for Harvard, but I still have time to tweak it for jan 15th deadlines. Note this isnt the print pdf file, just a low quality web version, with some spelling mistakes, etc. that have been fixed. Let me know what you think! thanks in advance.

Loved the space/motion mapping project. I've been wanting to get into something like this and apply it to initial site investigations. Some way to map the senses and be able to output them into a form.

Also, the furniture contruct,
"Realizing there is a considerable amount of waste as byproduct, we used the waste to create the internal structure. The material waste from the fabrication of the rubs is used to hold the assembly together."

Wish more people would resort to material saving ideas like this! I see tons of great scrap materials from the laser cutter thrown in the trash.. but what can I say.. it's free material for me then!

keep up the good work.. don't have any giant qualms about it.

ClemsonDnB very nice.

From my own personal experience with portfolios Id shorten the text just a little bit. It may be a little too wordy. Here at ASU they are really into summing up a project in one sentence. I know it might sound ridiculous but really in 2-3 short sentences you can describe any project and let the eye do the rest. Overall I like it, simple, yet elegant. I have a personal quark with the standard 8.5 x 11 size portfolios, however that is just me. I like something that’s about half that size however landscape style. However I don’t think you need to go through all that hard work again. It looks perfectly fine and I like the large images. Very nice and your work is amazing! Keep it up!

much nicer than first version. in comparison i think the first round of graphic design was fighting the design as much as setting it up. this is much more clear. i like the work with fieldoffice.

yo mar "C", looks good-the cover image is bad ass. also since im familiar with ur work id like to point out that ur not doing ur aquarium project justice. also ur first iteration with the script font and then the smaller sanserif font was really elegant and graphic, this new font doesnt do much for you. but the work is what is important and it looks great.
