How many years experience does an intermediate architect have?

i r giv up

varies.

where i work, you get as much responsibility as you can handle, and your title reflects that. that doesn't happen in a lot of firms.

5 years - then again, it depends on what you have accomplished

5 years at the 2 or 3 year level is not intermediate

Five years of progressive experience seems to be a standard definition.

intermediate \ˌint-ər-ˈmēd-ē-ət\

-not completely useless in a professional setting, but we surely won't put you in charge of nothing important.

or

-we really need someone who knows their shit, but don't feel like paying full price.
