team work is very satisfying when there are mostly babes on the team.

also about personal work,
Its also fun designing ALL by yourself with some cheerleaders dancing around you.

Architects cheerleading song -->

" One Two Three Four , First some walls, then windows and a door.
Ooh Aah Baby ...Make it (building)stand, I want more ! "

if you've got a client, it's teamwork.

if you're going to have a contractor, it's gonna be teamwork.

if you work in a firm, your boss is part of your team. if you've got them, so is your project manager and/or project architect.

so even if you think that the generative idea for a project came from you and only you, it's likely that the client, the architect who brought the job into the office, and the project management already had ideas about it before you even saw the project.

you can work with relative autonomy, yes. but you must be aware that any project already has a history and that this history has given the project some parameters (aka 'baggage') that you will either work with or against.
