I need some of your expert advice. i have a pretty nice model getting finished, a long building packed with furniture which should yield some nice pictures. but i want to get some night shots for the model... that would be great since i have a lot of translucent elements. my only idea so far is to string some christmas lights through the back of the building and hope it shows through in the front facade (its a long bar with translucency in both long facades).

christmas lights might have hot spots... if you find a small flashlight use that....... send me a few pics of your setup and i'll help out

depending on angles/etc....... you can try to prop the model up and have some help in being the light man/woman
