MArch after completing bachelors in Landscape Architecture

naderdaou

Hi,

I'm currently a 3rd year student out of a 4th year program in Landscape Architecture. However, after I graduate I want to continue my education in Architecture, and from there on work as a professional architect.

I have been researching and its been tough finding a good university that offers a MArch as a professional degree. I would like to study in Europe, most preferably London. USA would be a last option.

Any opinions of good schools, programs ...etc?

Thanks

ciao

TU Delft I think has a professional MArch.

UK doesn't
you would need to go through a diploma program and possibly transfer into 3rd year.

Thanks for the reply,

What would your opinion be about completing another undergraduate program in Architecture in the UK? I see completing a MArch would be just on par with an undergrad program since I don't have experience in Architecture already.

I am not planning on working in the UK after I graduate, but somewhere else. So getting accreditation by the British Architecture Association (whatever it's called) would be useless, no?

Thank you

Re: Ciao

From what I understand, the program at TU Delft is not a professional M.Arch (in the north american sense) but is an M.S.Arch. I believe it's good for Holland (and subsequently the EU?) but would not transfer to N.America without supplemental study...
