The Guardian on Ronaldinho's last trick (plus video)

Just plain beautiful... Miralles' plasticity and Gaudí's inventiveness brought into football...

yeah, that was a great one too.. but ex-Espanyol forward's one in the World Cup is an expression of power (though the parabola is almost perfect and damn beautiful too)... Ronaldinho's one is just something else, it has an artistic conception, a gastronomical perfection and a mathematical resolution... it's a work of art! ;)

Ronaldinho had his back to the goal he recieved with his chest, tacked slightly with his head and scored with his back to the goal..the ball had a little curve i dont think any could do it in Ronaldinho position at that point...but i really would say that it was a a gastronomical perfection and a mathematical resolution... and it's a work of art! ;)

what gets me about the maxi play is how hard the ball was coming to him and how far out he is and the amount of power and direction he is still able to put on the ball...both are amazing though, without a doubt.
