ERROR- Specifying a gradient glazing for a curtain wall system.
REASON- Looked crummy on those early design studio boards and those cars with the tinted windows that go from really dark to mirror tint and still looks crummy.
I see what you mean about the reflections, broccolijet. Maybe the building is meant to be an iceberg. Maybe it's a commentary on the global warming that's enabling me to do my morning errands in NYC on December 01 in a tank top and jeans, no coat. Maybe I am only wishing it were cold enough to support a penguin existence and therefore projecting penguins onto everything. Is there anything wrong with that?
with all this penguin talk, i'm beginning to have billy madison-esque hallucinations.
susan, i'm so californicated...growing up in westchester the first post-winter day that hit 50 degrees, we were out in t-shirts. here in la, a 50 degree day is coat 'n' scarf weather. you're brave...very brave.
dumb question alert: who's iceberg, i mean building is that and where is it?

Two ominous giant penguins staring down from the roof?
hahaha...susan...

Um.. do you not see them?? Dead center of the frame, top of the building.
LOL susan....
I thought they were 2 people trying to jump ( the designer and the principal of the firm that came up with it).
i'm seeing penguins in the reflections...i think i need to take a walk around the office.
susan
I believe those are mounting locations for the lasers

Maybe they're planning ahead to the next ice-age?
