architects dramaticlly misuse such metaphors too. besides 'architecture' is applied to many things-computers, even sleep has an architecture now. does that upset you too? or is just the associations with rove that bug you?

well that cinches it, i am officially a Ortho[ped]spatial[Neur]ologitect.

"Architect" is an English word with a variety of meanings. "A person licensed in a particular jurisdiction to sign and seal drawings" is just one of those meanings. Get over it.

I think calling Karl Rove an architect might lend some credibility to the profession. And I hate Karl Rove.

Calling him the "Choreographer" just does have the same punch.

too bad he used his powers for evil...i have a feeling he is an extremely intelligent man, who has an incredible grasp of the american people...i personally consider the way he ran both '00 and '04 presidential campaign strategies to be genius...to get bush re-elected in 2004 was nothing short of a miracle...i mean, we still don't know how it happened...(althought the dem's deserve some credit here too)

well, he may be gone, but the damage is already done...i am sure he will find a good job somewhere...

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him again soon, perhaps initially working to iron out repug strategy for 08 and eventually being picked up in some capacity to work for whoever gets the presidential nomination.
