the time has come for a new computer. am i taking a risk by switching to a Mac Pro and running XP - i will have bootcamp 1.1 installed and not parallel? i will be using AutoCAD, Form Z, etc. i have been seduced by Macs for a while (shinny metal things normally do that), but don't want to have hardware/software conflicts.
Nope, no risk at all. I got one a month after they came out and Rhino, Max, Acad 2007, Photoshop have all been running smoothly. I have the standard config with a couple extra HD's purchased from Newegg smooshed in there and so far its been great.
