For me, most of this weekend will entail finishing up assignments for my fall quarter classes, which end next week.
I'd certainly be up for a Chicago get-together sometime soon, though.
FYI, Greg Brewer, an former co-worker of mine and now an architect for SOM, is running for alderman in the 50th Ward. His platform revolves around sustainable planning and development in the city in general, and Lakeview in particular.
He's having a fundraising event at the Packer Schopf Gallery, 942 W. Lake Street on Wednesday, November 15th, 5:30 - 8:00 PM. Suggested donation is $35. See http://www.gregbrewer.org for more info.
i am a bit buzzed already as we had a couple of bottles of champagne, sparkling wine technically left from our mimosa morning and at about 4 pm we cracked em open. im ready for a nap!!!
hummm...what am i doing on a Friday night - posting on Archinect (i have no life obviously). No, I have an excuse - I had to drive a four-hundred mile round trip for a business trip and my car broke down and I am tired.
I am home too. I had to rest tonight though, I have another big run tomorrow. In anticipation of this I drank a Guinness.....and got drunk! I'm such a lightweight now.
i am going to stop by a westside design sensation festival to collect materials so you FUCKERS don't have to face the tragic side of the design bizz. so, enjoy your drinks wherever the fuck you are. silverlake echo park all good,
in my book.
refrain from 86 resulting bad calculations.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band are in town
but they are no match for Bobby Previte's Coalition of the Willing w/ Skerik, Charlie Hunter, and Robert Walter.
Somehow, I know both these options will lose out to Tapas for a friend's B-day.
...I propose a meet up inside Sullivan's burnt-down Pilgrim Baptist Church... BYOB,
...actually, that would prolly rock as long as we don't get shot or arrested.
I'm at work! Woooooo! I get to come in tomorrow, too!
poor garpike...:(
Nah, it's cool. I can sleep in a little. Maybe have a few drinks when I get home and not go on Archinect.

You're right.

Ouchy. But you made it home, no?
yes - thanks for asking. Now I have to fix the darn thing which will ruin my weekend!
Turn lemons into lemonade. Have a car fixing party where every guest fixes your car... while you drink and supervise. The guests can't drink.
damn, great suggestion! I'll send out the invitations..:)
