gaudi project?

Once ran accross an article on some project dealing with new structural analysis of gaudi's sagrada familia - i seem to remember it had something to do with fractals? maybe? anyone know anything about this?

Yes, Mark Burry has analyzed the design of some very complex parts of Sagrada Familia using a kind of parametric system of hyperbolic paraboloids. This was published in the article "Gaudi, teratology and kinship" AD Profile 133. Also, you could check out what this has to do with masonry and stonecutting by reading the chapter of stereotomy and Philibert de l'Orme in Robin Evans "The Projective Cast"
