I posted a thread like this with ASU a while ago. I had decided on Utah when I got accepted to UC Denver. I know a far amount about Utah now, but I know nothing about UC Denver. I did get a small scholarship at Utah just for Fall. 3yr program. Utah starts in May, Denver in Aug.
Me: Current undergrad at Utah. BS Urban planning and Design. I am wanting to get a degree at a different school, but I am also very considered about cost. Difference right now is about $15,000 in the end with Utah being the cheaper option.
My question to you is which would you choose and why. Anything about Denver would be helpful too. Thanks
I don't know anything about Utah and can't say much about Denver from first hand experience because I went to CU Boulder, which is essentially Colorados only "4" in the "4+2" program. Personally, I am not a fan of the city of Denver in general. It just seems glum to me. The only thing I know about the arch program is that they do offer a great design build option, Design Build Bluff. Now that I think about it, it's actually funny in your case because they go to Bluff, Utah for the build. Anyway, they always choose a family down there and build them an entire house throughout the semester. The designs are actually quite good and not your standard "we need to build this quick and cheap." If you go there I would highly suggest it. I did a DB over the summer through Boulder and Denver and it was amazing being able to figure out all the details and actually build what you design.
Sorry I really can't comment on anything else, the DB is all I've ever heard of.
