Anyone going to check out some of these places in London? Apparently many usually restricted access buildings will be open to the public, some on a pre-booked basis.

A series of four talks in three UK cities: Manchester, Bristol and London. Come and listen to FAT, "
the guy is in "fat" funny and interesting.."sam jacob" if im not mistaken... try not to miss that lecture!
Wooah! Mass response here!! I've been going to London Open House for the last five years.
My favorite visit this year surprised me - The Donnybrook Quarter, an ingenious high density car-free housing community in Tower Hamlets. The architect had been standing in the middle all day enthusing about it. And two residents walked up while I was there and were equally happy.
Adjaye's "Idea Store" would have been better if there had been guided tours, or if it wasn't filled with uppity library staff telling people not to take photos :-/
