should there be an ethno-centric architecture? (as a type of regionalism)
1. considering the gentrification we call "urban renewal": does it become just leftovers of a dead past i.e. disney world?? or something that will be as out of place as the "original" residents from the area?
2. the other side is that the areas of town (i.e. chinatown, etc.) should our focus be to fuse the concepts of the specific ethnicity with the regional nature of the city making a unique to that city...or just forget it all in an effort to think globally??
