how many pieces should be put in grad portfolio?

meowmeow

I'm applying for a post-professional M.Arch II and I'm having a dilema as to what projects to choose for it. There are only 3 buildings I've designed that I feel are worthy of showing to people, along with 1 or 2 side studies that could be interesting. Do you think that universities would frown upon having only 3 major projects in a portfolio?

do you have more than just building design (ie installation projects, graphic design work, sculpture)? i believe most respectable universities look for diversity of work instead of pure quantity of work.

i dont think they'd frown. The old saying rings true here: "quality not quantity." If anything improve upon what you have rather than start a new project from scratch.
