they have seven or eight MS programs in architecture, all completely different, ranging from 6 months to 2 years.. So your question is kind of hard to answer. CMU has an excellent reputation, so as far as schools go, you will get a good education. The question is, will a masters in whatever of the programs you are looking at increase your earning potential? Probably, but it will depend on what you do with it. The ones in project management and computational design probably will have the biggest payoff, urban planning the least.
Carnegie Mellon MS Programs
Does anybody know anything about them? Are they worth the price of tuition? Will they increase my earning potential?
Anybody?

@archie
Thanks for the reply. I'm wondering about computational design, specifically. What makes you say it will have a big payoff?
