I am relatively new to LA and I am looking for a reliable Toyota (truck) mechanic. I don't want to take it to a dealership, because they tend to over charge for basic services. Does anyone have recommendations for a good garage or mechanic?
well...I suppose it's odd, but am guessing that there are quite a few archinectors in LA, driving not-so-new Toyotas or Hondas, so I thought it was worth a shot for the feedback!
i can "recommend" my toyota mechanic, he works on my toyota camry.
His name is "Andy" at Bert's Garage on Franklin and Cahuenga in Hollywood.
Additionally, telling the Hertz rental guys a few blocks away near Hollywood Blvd and Highland Ave. that your "car is at Bert's Garage for repairs" gets you a fat discount on rentals. It turns out this works even if your car isn't really at Bert's Garage.
this topic is certainly more engaging than the Zionist bastard thread.
anita @ fandango in silverlake - depends what you mean by reasonable & the length of your hair - she charges $50 for women medium length hair and does a great job - excellent color as well
ask for Chevonne at Rudy's Barbershop on Sunset, or the Rudy's downtown at the Standard. Call first to check if she is working the day you wanna get your hair cut. I will set you back $20-$26 plus tip.
Wow I remember when this thread first appeared. Hard to imagine that she/he would still need a Toyota mechanic... Could be wrong. It may have been parked on Sepulveda for four years.
How did you find it - searched for 'way-old thread'?
Its such a shame man! cant help myself laugh..! XD
what the - its has been for years..? darn it.. I think I should get my eyes checked. I already have four!
Maybe thats what you call a stupid person? I felt so embarasssssed.. I still cant help myself but laugh.. XD
