For those of you that want a little taste of New Orleans before you head to the AIA convention, we went there last Wednesday and uploaded a video and post to our blog at www.travelwade.com. It also shows some clips of the new construction in the Katrina damaged areas. Be sure to try to get out there if you are going to the convention.
Frank Gehry fans-- if you have the time--Biloxi isn't that far of drive down the road from NO he has a new museum complex being built--One of the buildings is for the Mad Potter. Across the bridge from Biloxi is Ocean Springs which is a cool old town, go and check out Shearwater Pottery and the WAMA museum. More people should know about Walter Inglis Anderson.
