if you are determined to go to an ivy, you're likely to spend a lot of money and accrue some debt.
on the other hand, if you're willing to go to a state school and know what you're going after while you're there, you can get a great education, further your own interests, and probably end up with a tuition waver and an assistantship, thereby coming out ahead instead of in debt.
