I'm having trouble on putting together my portfolio, my sketch work was ruined by my aunt moving, each drawing is wrinkled krinkled and folded at the edges, how would I go about putting them in my portfolio without the defects being seen?
i agree with mr.zoolander - i think the wrinkles and such are good and will show "work in progress"-and everyone is all about progress. my personal favorite portfolio (i heard from the admissions officer at my school) was ink doodles on the margins of undergrad class notes. probably won't get you a job, but it got the guy into architecture school.
yup, wrinkles look cool when scanned. I'd try scanning them with a transparent background, maybe using them to superimpose over something else. Just crank up the contrast.
Portfolio Question...

scan them and try to fix in photoshop - or redraw them...
i think it might look neat to have all the wrinkles and stuff. really shows that they're not formal drawings...
just a thought.

i have a few portfolio cases on my website... in the products section...might give you a few ideas....
i would stick to a 11x17 sheet if possible.... not too big and not too small..... enough to put info/pics on the sheet...
and give your port. some character..... include sketches/loose sheets/ideas/etc......
it's the process to the ending product that i think counts
b
add some coffee stains while you're at it
