Taking next week off work and headed to Germany, Switzerland, and France. (Specifically Stuttgart, Basel, Ronchamp, Paris). I am driving to first three stops from Amsterdam, coming back to Amsterdam after Ronchamp to drop some people off, then taking a train to Paris.
Planning this and other trips around Europe and Asia I have been confronted with this almost jealous feeling inside about visiting architecture. Everyone has already seen it. There is some satisfaction seeing a great building that isn't easily picked up by google or seen by every Euro-architect-tourist.
So I am putting the call out for ideas of buildings to hunt down on this and other trips. Buildings you have seen, buildings you wish you could see, buildings you have heard or read about but never seen. I will be more than happy to reply ideas with pictures in this discussion.
