SF Furniture...

A Center for Ants?

Helping my gf find some stuff... found an EQ3, west elm, etc. but wondering if anyone knows of a good store w/ modern stuff that's AFFORDABLE in the bay area....

preferably closer to the eastbay...

There's a modern furniture store across from the Trader Joe's in South of Market... I bought some Eames chairs there a few years ago. I cannot remember the name. And of course the DWR warehouse is in the East Bay. They have a sale atleast once a year...

There's a number of antique stores on Market St. a few blocks east of the Safeway. I have seen some Eileen Grey chairs in the window of one of the places.... But again, this is SF, so nothing is cheap. ;-(

there are a couple stores in hayes valley, SF. I doubt they are affordable; it's worth looking at.

when all else fails, go to IKEA.
