MLA - Hearing back

Any landscapers out there? i have been reading a couple Archinect threads about MLA programs but they are both from over three years ago so decided to start a new one.

Has anyone heard from any of the West Coast programs? I applied to Cal Poly Pomona, USC and Berkeley and haven't heard back from any of them. ( Heard back and got in to all East coast schools on my list).

Also, anyone got a sense of what the USC program has been like so far?

For Cal Poly Pomona insights, wait and see if Barry will contribute to this thread, seeing as he teaches there now.

I really have not heard a thing about USC (strangely, this also goes for their M.Arch program), but Berkeley has a strong community design/service slant. Have heard mixed reviews of their Planning program, which likewise somewhat affects their Env Planning track. Main reason I didn't apply to Berk's MLA is that, knowing that the UC system in general and Berkeley in particular isn't the most well funded of programs out there, resources wouldn't be as abundant as, say, at Penn or the GSD.

Also, congrats on getting into your E coast schools! Perhaps we'll cross paths, fellow MLA.
