The files im working with are from an architect who originally created them in another AutoDesk program (Revit maybe?). The lines/objects that appear 2d in plan view are actually 3d.
ideas on how to flatten this document so i can use hatching features and such in cad?
-tried projecting surfaces/lines to a plane in Rhino but did not work since most of the drawing is made from blocks
you could also try exploding the 3d walls... i think that this will convert it into 2d lines... but save a copy first, 'cause it could just end up FUBAR...
