Hydrotech is good for their eggcrate water retention, and their moisture mat. Others make root stops that are as good. Green grid is ok for extensive planting especially if you want it instantly green and easily removable.
A good thing about Hydrotech is that you get a warranty for both waterproofing layer and a green roof system from one company – not necessarily the case with other firms
