need I say more...stupid. Freakin heck people, vote for our gov't officials and change things instead of complaining about how you wish things were better!

Well, it sounds nice, but it's not exactly true. Idol had about 63.4 million, the last presidential election had about 131 million. Bush got about 62 million votes in 2004, but I doubt Taylor got any more than 35 million votes. Plus, there's nothing stopping you from voting twice for Idol.

that would be great...voting for political candidates via an 800 number, or even better, by text message. also, we should be able to vote as many times as we want, within a 24 hour period. i can already picture certain people having their phone service mysteriously suspended for the day.
