To Find a Television

alexan

Hello all,

I am a student at the cooper union and also teach the saturday outreach program. Three other students and myself organize lesson plans and conduct class every saturday during the academic year from 10 to 5. Its a free program for any eligble high school students who might not have exposure to an art and architecture education.

So, the last day we planned a feild trip to the architectural center on laguardia, but it was raining. Solution? Watch a movies; The Warriors and My Architect. In transit from the saturday program office to the floor where we conduct class our televsion met an obstacle which left it without picture.

Now the program is assed out for a tv.

So if anyone, namely in the nyc area knows how we could possibly procure a television, new or used, help me out.

The program is funded purely on donations so there is not a lot of money to throw around.

Thanks for the help.

Have you tried freecycle New York or craigslist?

xietao, the choice of films is, frankly, very intriguing. Will you and the highschoolers watch the Warriors first, get into 70's ultraviolence, to fuel the desire to then hurt Nathaniel Kahn?

if I were in NY, I would GIVE you a tv!

style points for wearing a suede vest w/ tassles (no shirt), painted face half-blue, half-white, and roller skates.

next: clockwork orange, followed by Kwinter podcast
