The one time I saw him lecture he showed up, balled head gleaming, in a LEATHER suit with this flouncey older, French woman in stiletto heels and a fir coat hanging on his arm. It was a great lecture but I felt so bad that we were pulling him away from whatever they had going on back at the hotel. It seemed like he couldn’t wait to get out of there and get back in his harness or whatever.
The weird gynophobic misogyny underlies the obsessive repetition of this theme here is obviously tedious. However, it’s more distressing that people who are supposed to be pushing the aesthetic envelope have such pedestrian desires.
