did anybody else notice the 11th hour jury shake up with the steedman competition? juhani pallasma swapped for 2 representatives of the HOK team-spirit? and a couple others from WashU faculty to boot.
either we assume that in the case of architecture, judgement is universal and who does it is irrelevant ; or we conclude that this is a bit unfair to the entrants (of any competition where this happens) since the composition of the jury creates a target audience for how you present your idea...
I think that's completely unfair. I enter competitions based in part on the jury because I'd like my work to be judged and discussed by people I respect....
