since i was recently scoffed at for my use of kodak's ofoto gallery to host images I decided to check out Image shack after A Center For Ants recommended it. is image shack primarily used to host a few photos that you want to post elsewhere using the url, or can you upload a whole file or album at once that you want to make accesible to friends/family for viewing? If imageshack isn't the ideal forum for this type of image sharing, can someone recommend a better site?
there's also snapfish as well... dunno how each of these stack up against each other. the nice thing about the photo-based ones is that other ppl can order prints.
flickr isn't bad either, but it doesn't have unlimited free use...
unlimited uploads, unlimited storage, clean interface, drag and drop capabilities. all for the low low price of $24.95 / yr.
and their prints are gorgeous. i took a disk to ritz camera and had 4x6 prints made from digital files, and my boyfriend unknowingly ordered the exact same prints off of my smugmug. they far exceeded the ritz prints in color accuracy and depth. they were really rich. and i think they were 8 cents a print or something really cheap.

Yahoo also has something similar.. I don't know if it's the best, but it is integrated with My Yahoo and Yahoo mail.

imageshack is convenient for use w/ forums. but i wouldn't recommend it at a place to host images for friends and family.
