build beautiful furniture. It isn't Boston and it isn't New York, but all those folk seem to visit here one time or another:

There's a DWR in Cambridge, pretty sure its on Mass Ave., is that the price range you're looking for?

also i know there's a place on mass ave just outside of
porter sq...across from taco loco
price is really not an issue at this point. we're flying from canada to look for furniture, so we are willing to look at anything at this point.
any suggestions for nyc would be greatly appreciated as well.

along mass ave just before you get to Harvard Square there are a number of furniture places (including the aforementioned Design Within Reach).
There are also some in Boston in the back bay and around the south end
