I am currently in the third year of my BArch program in Los Angeles, and I am wondering if any of you have advice on finding internships in Chicago for the summer? I'm not too familiar with the architecture scene in the city, or of reputably good firms to intern for. I'm proficient in Rhino, CAD, and all Adobe software. I'm looking for an experience that will be a good supplement to my education, both conceptually and in terms of gaining skills/experience. It would also have to be a paying internship, albeit those seem rare. Thanks for your advice.

there have been numerous threads created lately about firms in the chicago area. i would start there. here's a smapling.
