Has anyone used the acad Sheet Set feature? I'm going to try it out on a small set of drawings. Is it a big advantage to the normal way of creating sheet?
I use it a bit, never really got into it enough to set up the drawings with it. But for printing and exporting to consultants it is fantastic. It looks like you have to have a really solid file convention and even basic drawings set up before you start using it to set up sheets.
You don't have to put on the black light,
put on the black light,

Is it a good idea to take a group of drawings that are already started and put them into a sheet set? and also I want to convert detail symbols already on these sheets so that they can auto update.

How do you cross reference symbol detail numbers so that they will automatically update when views and sheet numbers change?
For that you have to use views and fields.
