Vray 30-day trial for Sketchup on Mac

Bench

Hey all,

I've been having some trouble installing my 30-day trial of Vray for SketchUp 8 on my iMac. Everytime I attempt to install the program it tells me that it cannot find the Plug-In folder for SketchUp. I've tried everything I can think of and come up empty handed, and their support hasn't been very helpful. They keep telling me to change the folder name from SketchUp 7 to SketchUp 8, which was the first thing I tried, and nothing.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Firstly, quit sketchup if you are using it.

When prompted to choose a location/folder for the Vray plugin, there should be a default folder suggested by the installer. This folder mistakenly says "Google SketchUp 7/Sketch Up" Change the 7 to an 8.

save a copy of the installation file.  I've found that you can keep re-installing the 30 day trial once a month as needed.
