I am going through a series of interviews for a plum job located in Cambridge. I am a New Yorker, so the move to Cambridge/Boston is terrifying. I have always lived in Manhattan (except for short stints in Europe) so I never learned how to drive. My questions are:
1. Do you enjoy living in Boston/Cambridge?
2. What would you recommend as a neighborhood for a non-driver? Job would be near Kendall, but I don't mind a commute as I now commute about 40 minutes by subway to get to work.
3. What are the guidelines suggested for rents (1 bed & 1 bath)?
Thanks for any help. I have about a month to decide (assuming I get the job).
