yea I let out a huge sigh of relief when I saw their tweet. I feel like there should be a more official way to let people know but o well. Seeing as how its past 3am here and I have work in the morning I'm at a crossroads as to wait it out tonight or try to get a few hours of sleep..... :/

I mean I figure they have to extend it at least 24 hours at some point. It would be nearly impossible to sort out this mess tonight and expect everyone who is having issues to stay up

i just got in too but same problem as 443wrl.....wont let me get to my application just tells me the deadline has passed and that I need to contact the department

wont let me get on it on google chrome but will with IE.....they definitely need to change that deadline or let me upload the last of my stuff somehow

Since we were able to upload everything except for at least one article and the payment, I think we should be able to gain some time tomorrow to finish our application. And we were going to submit it before midnight as well.

Right. Although I feel sort of bad for not submitting the application earlier lol. 

I really wish they would send out an email too - but I guess it's past midnight...and no one's really working in the admissions office perhaps at this hour. I also wish that GradAdm Twitter would say something about those applications that were due half an hour ago! I think Physics department's applications were due tonight too, so we're not the only ones.

yea...i guess I should head to bed seeing as how they've pretty much done all they are going to do tonight. I would assume they would have to get some sort of approval before extending the deadline, and I should probably at least get a couple hours of sleep in if im going to have to raise hell with them tomorrow.

It's back up, and has been extended until midnight tonight!!

Check that, until ***5PM PST*** tonight.

In an email from the DCRP admin:

"Yesterday, December 19th around 10PM the admissions server went offline for approximately two and an half hours.  As a result, many applicants were unable to submit their application by the 11:59 PM deadline.  We reviewed all of the applications in the system and noticed that you last logged in on the 19th.  We’ve decided to extend the deadline until today, December 20th at 5PM PST for applicants who may have been effected by the server outage.

Please let me know if you cannot meet the deadline or have any additional problems with the website."
