in need of a good font

nerd

looking for a font that could be used for blocks of text at book scale that goes well with both serious professionalism and art neuveau. something clean that can be used for text on drawings and/or project narratives.

any suggestions?

tahoma or verdana? They certainly are safe. Whatever you do, don't use Bank Gothic

I was going to suggest Grotesque! Ha. I wonder if Akzidenz Grotesk is similar... Hey Google! Yes, very similar.

I personally make a point of using the Wingdings font on all my CD's. Contractors love it.

Actually My all time favorite is artistic sanskrit ( devnagari script)

..even Tibetan is not far behind, followed by japanese.
