I have been out of school for 4 years now and what I did professionally was interior design mostly and some arch competitions
but what I did in school was not so well comparing to those after .....
I am going to apply for march2 .
Heres the question, more interior/profesional or more academic in portfolio??
they were not bad, in fact, there is no evidence to show of what i did in studio 1,3,4,5 ! they are almost ruined and they all were hand drawings not digital, so no chance of reproducing. besides i think what i did after school is better but mostly interior and my concern is about irrelevancy of interior design to m.arch 2 .
i agree with J and Joe on this one. I know its been a minute (LONg Time) since the scool days, but your portfolio is basically .....YOU..confusing, but u should know where im coming from. but just put in your best work, and its also very detrimental to show your growth.
that sounds familiar... but i am the opposite, i like what i did in school and not really what i did as a professional. i've always been told to put too much school and not enough professional also looks suspect. is it wrong to make up your own projects if you don't like your professional stuff to fill your portfolio with something more current?
