A while back I came across some amazingly deceptive photography, although I can seem to remember its author. The particular piece that I remember was of an escalator overrun by an enormous waterfall which dwarfed the two men standing below it. The author specializes in such pieces that deal with disproportionate scale and deception. Can anyone help?

I think you mean Scott Mutter's so-called "Surrational Images." The escalator photo I'm familiar with has only one figure in it though.
