I'll give a Google Gmail address (currently not publicly available - only by invitation) to the 3 people who post the best photos to the image gallery.
This is NOT a serious contest, so please have fun and don't take it seriously. Winners will be determined by the public voting with the rating system (each computer is only capable of submitting one vote)
To be eligable, you must include your Archinect screen name (or real life name or email address if you're not an Archinect member) in the credit field.

everything that applies to gmail in that article applies to hotmail, yahoo, archinect etc. and special for mr. bill gates, msn. patriot act in particular gives the goverment the right to indescriminately access your personal information, conversations, etc. since the us can write this rule, so why not all other nations.
The deadline for uploading images has passed, but the gallery will be open for voting until Wedesday, 5pm PST, so go and vote now. The more votes the images receive, the more fair the results will be:
well, i disagree with your statement with regard to the 'more votes the images receive, the more fair the results...'
in the spirit of fairness.... can you please disregard anyone with a florida ip address ? and how can we be reassured that because we are voting electronically that our votes will actually be counted?
Winners will be determined by the exact rating as shown, in numbers, below the images. In case of a tie, number of votes will be used to determine leader. There is a little over 2 hours left to submit your votes.
wait i'm confused... i thought the flying puppy was way on the lead... what happened?
well it was fun, anyway... only dissapointed since there were a lot of good, funny and/or interesting pics out there and i sort of disagree with those as top 3. the cracks of a democratic system i guess.

Gmail Address Competitions gallery... VOTE NOW
A couple new rules. Each image needs 10 votes before the contest is concluded... but uploads still will end at 5pm PST Monday June 28.
man oh man I am not on my game today, I just realized I might have disqualified myself by submitting more than one, anyway I need a damn break.
Is there a limit to the number of images you can post Paul... also, do they need to be original images taken by the person who posts them.
no limit on images and, no, doesn't have to be by you but you should credit the creator of the image to avoid copyright infringement.
is everyone able to submit?
anyone.
... remember that at least 10 votes are necessary to be officially rated.
i have one invite left myself, i could sell it to you paul, then you could give 4 away!
nope, now i have six invitations left...
the flying dog is my vote for winner
Arzo - would you care to share? I don't have much but I could email you compliments everyday for a month...
Arzo - "i could sell it to you paul, then you could give 4 away!"
uhhh... thanks for your generosity, but no thanks. i actually have many more invitation than the 3 i'm giving away.
Paul - would you care to share? I don't have much but I could email you compliments everyday for a month...

I don't know about this but someone sent me this link about Gmail. Sounds like it came from the desk of Bill Gates -

you have 4 more hours (deadline 5pm PST). the details are on the gallery page - http://www.archinect.com/gallery/index.php
uploads will stop at that point but we'll keep the voting going on for an additional 48 hours so more votes can be included, for fairness.
OK, pardon my ignorance but what is gmail?

"well, i disagree with your statement with regard to the 'more votes the images receive, the more fair the results...'"
TED - each computer is only allowed to vote once, so more votes means more people's opinions are being counted.
"and how can we be reassured that because we are voting electronically that our votes will actually be counted?"
when you rate an image, the number of votes increases by 1 (as read below the image) and the average score adjusts, calculating your vote.
and finally, remember, " This is NOT a serious contest, so please have fun and don't take it seriously."
:-)...ok...just having fun anyway...but you didnt get it.
got it ;)
i've got some invites.
who wants an address?
you dont have to send me money. or a picture. or anything.
you just have to promise to be nice to me.
Stephanie - I PROMISE to always be nice to you.
Now what am I gonna do with all this cash and all these 8 x 10 glossies?
Winners will be determined by the exact rating as shown, in numbers, below the images. In case of a tie, number of votes will be used to determine leader. There is a little over 2 hours left to submit your votes.
