I've been working as an architectural model builder for 7 years working in many different materials and skill levels and have developed a great working relationship with my equally skilled coworker. We have done many projects together and we are both interested in going independent, but I have yet to find a job to get us off the ground so i am wondering if anybody knows a site that allows you to bid on projects or at least a site that could point me in the right direction.

people dont build models anymore...I would try to undercut your current employer and go after their clients
I've considered this but not sure about how to approach those clients. Any insight about how to approach this would be greatly appreciated!
