I'm a Canadian student living in Toronto, trying to figure out the cheapest and fastest way to get my college-level Calculus and Physics credits out of the way so I can enroll in an M. Arch I program next fall. I should mention that I'm done my undergrad, so it's not like I can sign up at a University I'm already registered with. Online classes would be just fine, though I wouldn't object to doing night school at a community college or the like. Does anyone have experience with this? Any advice?
Hey there, I was (sort of) in the same boat as you last year. I was accepted to the program I wanted on condition that I complete one more first-year math/science credit. I suggest looking into Waterloo's online classes, as they offer nearly every first-year math credit and many math-based first-year science credits. Finding a suitable calculus, linear algebra or physics online course should be easy. And being in Toronto, you're still close enough to travel there to meet with the prof for a while if necessary. I would think you would be able to take it even if you aren't a current student; my online class was only half full.
Although if possible I would definately recommend actually taking the stuff in-class; online learning is pretty hairy.
