I will studying at Cornell M.Arch II program this Summer 2011 - NYC, just wondering who else is with me? - Also won't mind meeting up with some GSAPP grads considering Cornell has housed me next to Columbia in the Upper West Side (I House).
I feel compelled to introduce myself? - I'm 22/m, born in Shanghai, China, but grew up in New Zealand - been there since elementary school. Recently graduated with a M.Arch professional degree from the University of Auckland. First time traveler to the US and NYC! - (will be arriving at IHouse on the 18th of May)
Own1221, that's great! I am 29/m currently living and working as an architect in Seattle, WA. I graduated with a BArch from Iowa State in 2005 and have been working in Seattle since then. It's exciting to think we will have such an international crew. I will arrive at I-House on the 24th of may.
Dear Cornell Acceptees - particularly those M.Arch II - feel free to email me at [utopianscriptor (at) hotmail.com] - I'd like to meet up before class starts, and if there is a New Yorker who can show us round, even better!
@maximal1, Hi! I am 25/m, currently living and working in New Delhi, India. I graduated with a B Arch from Delhi and am also gonna be a first timer at NYC. Have already corresponded with own1221 through e mail, you can find me at aditya ghosh 13 (at) gmail .

Who is going to Cornell for Summer 2011 NYC? (M.Arch II) or GSAPP MSAAD

... really no one on archinect is going to Cornell?
Lol..I'm wondering the same..perhaps everyone's been placed on the waitlist!:P
Doesn't Cornell send you a list of incoming students to your program?
Is it just me, or is "GSAPP MSAAD" going a little too far with the acronyms?
@sectionalhealing, yeah, writing GSAPP MSAAD on my resume/portfolio/etc can get tedious! It's also quite easy to mess it up and do GSAAP or MSADD.
I'll be at Cornell this summer!
And living at I-House as well. Glad to hear someone else from the program will be living there.
And yeah, GSAPP MSAUD? Come on.
I will be there too, but probably putting up in Brooklyn...
@maximal1 & @addyg85 - great to hear!! I was starting to worry!
"Doesn't Cornell send you a list of incoming students to your program?" - they haven't, but I might ask.
