I am starting to put together a studio project based on religious tolerance. It would include a museum of religious tolerance and a multi-denominational worship space- a “Center for Religious Tolerance”. Can anyone suggest similar projects (real of conceptual) that have addressed this topic. Also, any names of architects who specialize in such religious work would be helpful.

regardless of questions about the use of such a building or the appropriateness of the architecture to this site and program, it's a personal fav:
you should probably look more specifically at holocaust museuems-Daniel Libeskind's in Berlin is the best known. Moshe Safdie and Stanley Tigerman also were working on some (not sure where/ whether completed) best luck with it.
office da did a multi-faith chapel at northeastern many years ago. it was published in enough places you shouldn't have any trouble locating information on it...
