Someone asked a few days ago if the truss would be visible in the final design of the new ICA in Boston by DS+R. I emailed my contact and got the following response.
Yes, originally we had intended to express the Mega-truss in some manner, but several factors (incl. $, lighting of the rainscreen cavity behind channel glass, and dedicating more space to a design feature vs. usable Gallery area) prevented this in the final design. The Megatrusses are now covered by wall construction (sheathing and insulation) and will be clad in a white- essentially flat- PVC membrane.
