Ok all you archi-geeks...I am looking for embassy and consulate projects done by large and small firms. These can range in anykind of style and taste. I am especially interested in recent projects (last 10 years). Let me know if anyone has some favorites or recommendations. ... I am also trying to remember a swiss architecture firm who played with the solid/void relationships with a very clean 3d aesthetic? I know you saying thats like everyone, but i am just drawing a blank...throw some names out it was along the lines of blummersauer or something...
Baumschlager & Eberle? They did a Consulate Building in Vienna.
Of recent note is the Nordic Embassy Complex in Berlin, details of which can be found here. A variety of architects were involved, including Snohetta. There are also some books around on the subject, such as this one
