does anyone know of any examples of a facade that is pulled away from the building?
such as the Cartier Foundation by Nouvel.
If i have it right, they had to keep with the street line, so he put up a "wall" a the sidewalk, then set the building back so many feet.
any other examples that anyone can think of?
it does not have to be pulled so far back...
